Craving

Ugh the worst thing about quitting is that it is on your mind and because it is on your mind all you are doing is thinking about getting one. Ugh the struggle.

How to kick the craving...well chew gum? Too much sugar and just as bad for you and costs more. Nicorette? Ppfftttt might as well smoke. Coffee? That makes me want to smoke! Mmmm nice 5am wake ups :) ugh.

Eating? Oh yah that's something I need to do more of!?

Keeping your mind off it. Ya but how?

Bam, it hits me. Writing, I love writing. I tried quitting a long time ago, undid for about 10 weeks or something? Back when I was dating carra. I was just going into summer and I thought it would be cool to vlog it. I did it and it was working in the beginning and then I got busy, couldn't do it and took so long to complete a video with editing and what not, ugh working a PC video editor makes you want to smoke your lungs right out!

I stopped the videos especially getting into teaching, don't want silly things said to come back and bite me in the rear end.

So thinking about it now, why not just blog, I mean; it just uploads simply after I'm done typing....why not try this, the way I see it, if this doesn't work, nothing can help me...except for torture...no thanks Stephen king.

Ghandi was once asked how to quit smoking, he says; return in 30 days and I'll have the secret. He took up smoking to learn how to quit. Granted there are factors involved but the nature of the idea that it is a learned habit, means it can be unlearned. It s just difficult.

So hopefully this blog will help me. I also have a feeling this blog will have a lot of short yet raw thoughts. Oh boy, filter.

30 days of no smoking. Here we start.

Cheers!

Quitter
