Smoking in china

In china, here it is, the place that most people smoke; here it is, the place that you can smoke in almost all places; here it is, the place with little house fires and a ridiculous amount of smoking in all buildings (including ones you are not supposed to).

Smokes in china are dirt cheap ranging from a pack of 20 (cheapest) for 7 (chi Kauai) RMB. It is quite odd, the more you pay, the less you get, as you get relatively more expensive cigarettes the size is like that of a tooth pick, you are afraid you will swallow it and that much less tabacco. Most expensive packs have maybe 10 or so, some less. All lighters usually one cost 1 Kauai but are known for quickly falling a part or shattering upon a simple drop.

There are some places you "should not" smoke but if you are not seen, who will do anything to you?

Welcome to quitting in china...

Congratulations to two others who have recently also quit; but a big thanks to the one who is sponsoring me.

Dude, without your motivation and inspiration, I would not have semi-black (instead of black) lungs today.

The last thing we smoked (and which was together at 11:50pm Dec 31st) was a cigar and Marlboro Chinese regular :p oddly enough, they were both gifts from the guy helping me quit.

It was just after my experience in the ER with the fever that I realized I felt like crap and noticed a difference in my health.

I always said by 24, that would be it. Maybe I'm not as lazy and bad at keeping promises as i thought.

Thanks again KF, hope things continually go well. No cheats, no halfsies and he'll no more smoking.
